About Your Guide


Kath Gallant is a chef, restaurateur, and beloved educator based on the Seacoast of NH. She has been a pioneer and prominent local figure in promoting slow, local, and organic food and has been recognized as a Remarkable Woman of Cuisine in NH as well as NH Magazine’s Top 100 Women in Business.

Kath is an active volunteer in her community, having co-developed and instated an after-school program for students, taught cooking, and created a family cookbook. She has also been involved in mentoring in the UNH Entrepreneurship Program, speaking at the UNH Student Slow Food meeting and has co-created several educational platforms.

Kath is committed to promoting sustainable and ethical food practices and believes that the energy and attitude with which food is prepared matter.
